Pune (Maharashtra) [India], March 4: Women's empowerment is not just about financial independence but also about confidence, skill development, and breaking barriers. Understanding this need, Shubhangi Industries, founded by entrepreneur and child psychologist Shubhangi Sawant, has been actively working to uplift women by providing employment, financial literacy, and personal growth opportunities.

Creating Employment for Women

Fifteen years ago, during visits to Lohgaon, Shubhangi Sawant noticed the struggles of local women who lacked stable jobs and financial security. In response, she established Shubhangi Industries, which focuses on manufacturing household spices and cleaning products. The company trains women in production, packaging, and sales, helping them achieve financial stability.

Promoting Financial and Social Awareness

Recognizing that financial security goes hand in hand with knowledge, the Shubhangee industry initiated self-help groups to teach women about savings, investments, and economic independence. Additionally, awareness programs on mental health and social issues have been conducted to boost confidence and self-reliance among women.

Encouraging Women to Step Out of Their Comfort Zones

Taking empowerment beyond the workplace, Shubhangi Industries recently organized a Women's Day adventure bike riding event with the help of Rupesh Chondhe from Motopark199. More than 200 women participated in this unique initiative, where they got the opportunity to ride sports bikes and experience the thrill of adventure biking. Over 40 bikers from across India and Indonesia joined the event, inspiring women to break stereotypes and embrace new challenges.

Notable Honorable Chief Guests Serum Institute of Pune. Director Satish Mundra and Asian Institute of men’s health Director Dr. Rajendra Shimpi, who praised the initiative and encouraged more such efforts for women's empowerment.

“Women often put their dreams aside due to family responsibilities. Through employment, financial literacy, and confidence-building activities, we aim to help them rediscover their potential,” said Shubhangi Sawant.
