IPL DC vs PBKS 2026 Scorecard: Priyansh Arya smashed a blistering half-century before Delhi Capitals pulled things back with disciplined bowling to restrict Punjab Kings to 210/5 in Match 55 of the Indian Premier League 2026 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on Monday.

Opting to bowl first in a must-win encounter, Delhi Capitals made five changes to their playing XI. However, PBKS opener Priyansh Arya came out attacking from the outset and put the DC bowlers under immense pressure during the powerplay.

The left-handed batter hammered 56 runs off just 33 deliveries, including six towering sixes. He took on Mitchell Starc in the opening over, which yielded 22 runs, and continued his aggressive approach against Lungi Ngidi and Mukesh Kumar as Punjab raced to 51 runs in the first three overs.

With the ball travelling quickly at the high-altitude venue, Delhi’s pacers initially struggled with their lengths. However, the visitors staged a comeback after adjusting their approach and hitting the deck harder.

Aquib Nabi played a crucial role in slowing down the scoring rate by extracting seam movement from a good length. Prabhsimran Singh scored 18 off 15 balls before being caught at fine leg off Mukesh Kumar.

Young pacer Madhav Tiwari then claimed his maiden IPL wicket by dismissing Priyansh Arya in the ninth over. Punjab Kings were well placed at 107/2 after 10 overs, but Delhi managed to regain control during the middle phase.

Punjab skipper Shreyas Iyer remained unbeaten on 59 off 36 deliveries, while Cooper Connolly contributed 38 off 27 balls. The pair added 83 runs for the third wicket, but Delhi bowlers prevented them from accelerating consistently in the death overs.

Mitchell Starc struck twice in the 19th over to remove Marcus Stoinis and Shashank Singh off successive deliveries before Suryansh Shedge counterattacked with two sixes late in the innings.

Lungi Ngidi bowled an excellent final over as Punjab Kings finished with 210/5 in their 20 overs
