IPL 2026, DC vs CSK Today Match: Delhi Capitals have left out Kyle Jamieson from their playing XI for match 48 Indian Premier League 2026 against Chennai Super Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
Jamieson has been replaced by Lungi Ngidi, who returns to the side after recovering from injury. Ngidi had missed a couple of matches earlier in the season but has been brought back as the team looks to strengthen its pace attack.
The decision comes despite Jamieson delivering steady performances in limited opportunities, picking up two wickets in two matches. However, Ngidi’s experience and effectiveness in the middle overs appear to have influenced the team management’s call.
Ngidi has taken seven wickets in seven matches this season and is expected to add control and variation to Delhi’s bowling unit.
Toss Update Update
Delhi Capitals captain Axar Patel won the toss and elected to bat first.
