India vs New Zealand, 1st ODI Live: Shubman Gill wrapped up Team India's innings after three batsmen—Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ishan Kishan—returned. Along with Suryakumar Yadav, he faced the New Zealand bowlers and completed his third century in ODIs.

The duo of Rohit and Shubman came out to open and today Rohit looked in good form. But, once again, he was deprived of playing a major game. Rohit returned for 34 off 38 balls (4 fours and 2 sixes). Virat Kohli (8) and Ishan Kishan (5).

As soon as Suryakumar Yadav came to the ground, the stadium was filled with his cheers. Surya and Shubman made a 65-run partnership off 52 balls to revive India's innings. Daryl Mitchell sends Surya back with an easy catch in the hands of Santner for 31. Shubman Gill scored a century off 86 balls.

This was Gill's third century in ODI cricket, and he broke Lokesh Rahul's (24) record of scoring the fastest three ODI centuries for India in 19 innings. Shikhar Dhawan is at the top with this feat in 17 innings.

Shubman has moved to second place in the world. Fakhar Zaman from Pakistan leads the way with 18 innings. Imam ul Haq from Pakistan also achieved the feat in 19 innings. Shubman broke the record of Sir Vivian Richard (21 innings).
