NEET Exam Cheating Racket Busted in Bihar: MBBS Student Among 3 Arrested by Nalanda Police
Three people were arrested, including an MBBS student, by Nalanda Police in an NEET entrance exam cheating racket, according to the news agency IANS on Monday, May 4. The NEET examination was held across India on Sunday, May 3. In view of this, police officials were deployed to check vehicles at several checkpoints and a high alert was declared.
According to Rajgir DSP Sunil Kumar Singh, ahead of the NEET exam, Nalanda police were on high alert and conducting checks across districts. While checking, the police stopped two vehicles on the Pawapuri road in Bihar. On asking, the driver said that he’s an MBBS student.
On checking by police personnel, bundles of currency notes worth Rs 2 lakh were found in the vehicle. The alleged driver said that they were taking their boss’s car somewhere. The police detained both men and took them to the police station for further questioning into the matter.

The police seized the mobile phone found from the accused. On checking their mobiles, the police found NEET Admit cards and details of money transactions. The police contacted other districts' police personnel to informed about the NEET cheating case.
The accused is said to be an MBBS student identified as Aman Kumar Singh from Motihari and Pankaj Kumar. Further investigation is underway.
