Days before the disturbing news of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, television actor Arjun Bijlani said he sensed that something was amiss and sent him a message to check up on him. Now, a day ahead of, Sushant's first death anniversary, Arjun Bijlani in a interaction with a news portal shared details of his last interaction with the Kedarnath star. The two actors, who lived in the same building in Malad before Sushant moved to Bandra in 2016.
Speaking about his last message to Sushant, to which he never got a reply, Arjun told a leading daily, "I can’t recall when I met him last, but I do remember thinking of him on May 29 last year and messaging him, because I felt that he had disappeared and wanted to know about him. I sent him a text to connect, but never received any reply... I remember him as a very emotional and determined guy. A happy and talented guy like Sushant just disappeared from our lives. I pray that wherever he is, he is happy. We miss him a lot.”
Arjun is currently in Capetown, shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. The crew began filming the show last month and the first promo was released on Saturday. Sushant was found hanging at his Mumbai home on Sunday. The police said that no suicide note was found. The actor was known for his performances in films such as Chhichhore, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!. He started his career on television and is still remembered for his role as Manav in Pavitra Rishta. His sudden death sent shock waves across his family, friends and fans. The 34-year-old star in a short span of time earned all the love of his followers, leaving behind a lasting memory.
