The world is in a virtual lockdown mode due to the novel coronavirus and with the number of people getting infected with the virus increasing every day the government is advising everyone to stay indoors and take necessary precautions. Many Bollywood celebs as a precautionary measure returned to India including Sonam Kapoor and her husband. In a latest development, actor Irrfan Khan's son  who was pursuing his higher studies in London has returned home. Irrfan’s wife, Sutapa Sikdar, took to social media to pen a note requesting the government to let students come back to India who were stranded in London.

However, their son landed in Mumbai on Thursday, according to a Times of India report. His mother, Sutapa Sikdar, received him at the airport. She took to social media later and wrote, “Thanks to everyone for the prayers and wishes. Babil is back to India safely. Gratitude to all of you who offered help. The flight was late over an hour.”Yesterday, PM Narendra Modi also urged the citizens of the country to stay at home amid the Coronavirus pandemic and asked everyone to take part in the junta curfew on March 22, 2020.
