Actor Vipul Roy’s House Help Accused of Stealing Rs 7.1 Lakh Cash, Gold From Khar Residence
Television actor Vipul Roy got robbed by his own domestic help for Rs. 7.10 lakh. The Khar police have registered case against a domestic help for allegedly stealing foreign and Indian currency along with gold and silver ornaments. This theft occurred on April 6, and the case was registered on April 21.
As per the reports, Roy resides with hiss wife and daughter in flat 1001 on the 10th floor of Kalaniketan Society on S.V. Road in Khar West. The family regularly booked domestic help through Urban Company. On April 6, Roy booked Deepali Kharwa, 35, who had previously worked at his residence four times and was familiar with the family, the house, and their belongings.
Roy alleges that his domestic helper, Deepali Kharwa, stole cash and jewelry worth Rs 7.10 lakh from his home. According to his FIR, on the day of the incident, Kharwa allegedly locked the bedroom door after being instructed not to enter with wet legs while she was cleaning. Upon Roy's return from work the following day, he discovered that 30 US dollars, 7,000 UAE dirhams, 14,500 Thai baht, Rs 6 lakh in cash, a silver bracelet, and two gold and diamond rings were missing.

According to FPJ reports, Roy stated that his travel abroad delayed the filing of the complaint. Police have registered a case against Kharwa under Section 306 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Vipul Roy is an Indian television and film actor, known for his role as Bhola Pandit in SAB TV’s F.I.R. and for acting in the Punjabi film What the Jatt.
