Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan penned a heartfelt tribute to the doctors and nurses, tagging them as ‘companions of the sufferer’. Big B  shared a translation of his verse that read, “pristine white their layered dress ; dedicated to serve they be ; god like incarnations they ; companions of the sufferer they ; erased they their ego have ; to us they have embraced in care ; they be the divine destination ; they fly the flags of humanity...”On Tuesday, Amitabh had shared a note of thanks to his fans and followers for their good wishes for the family’s health. 

Amitabh Bachchan had revealed on Saturday that he had tested positive for Covid-19. Abhishek Bachchan was also hospitalised with his father after he tested positive for Covid-19. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya had also tested positive Coronavirus, but are in home quarantine. Jaya Bachchan had tested negative for the virus. Hospital authorities revealed that the father son duo have been responding well to the treatment so far. Post the actors’ diagnosis, 26 staff members working at their bungalows were also tested for COVID-19. On Monday, Vishwas Mote, assistant municipal commissioner, K West ward, said all the staff members tested negative for the virus.
