Baywatch Actress Pamela Bach Dies At 62: Hollywood Star Found Dead from Gunshot Wound

Pamela Bach, actress and former wife of David Hasselhoff, has died at the age of 62. She was found deceased at her Los Angeles home on Wednesday, March 5th. The Los Angeles Medical Examiner has ruled her death a suicide, caused by a gunshot wound to the head. Reports indicate that Bach's family, concerned after being unable to reach her, went to check on her well-being. TMZ initially reported the news.   David Hasselhoff's representative released a statement to PEOPLE, expressing the family's grief: "Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time, but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time."

Bach shared two daughters, Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32, with David Hasselhoff. Her social media often featured loving posts about her daughters and granddaughter, London, born to Taylor and her husband, Madison Fiore, in August. Taylor and Madison married in February 2023. Bach's final Instagram post, shared on New Year's Eve, showed her posing by a Christmas tree and a video of her granddaughter. Pamela Bach and David Hasselhoff, now 72, first met on the set of "Knight Rider," where she made a guest appearance. She later appeared alongside him in several episodes of "Baywatch." Bach, born on October 16, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was an American actress and model best known for her recurring role on "Baywatch." She began her acting career in the 1970s and appeared in various television series, including "The Young and the Restless," "Cheers," "The Fall Guy," "T.J. Hooker," "Superboy," and "Viper."
