Bhooth Bangla Box Office Collection Day 2: Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar, registered a strong jump on Day 2 of its theatrical run. According to early estimates, the horror-comedy collected Rs 19.00 crore net on its second day (1st Saturday), marking a solid 55.1% growth from Rs 12.25 crore on Day 1. The film recorded its Day 2 collection across 11,513 shows with an overall occupancy of 29%.
With the latest figures, the film’s total India net collection has reached Rs 35.00 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs 42.00 crore. Overseas, the film added Rs 10.00 crore on Day 2, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 19.50 crore. The worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 61.50 crore after two days.
The film opened with Rs 12.25 crore on Day 1 after earning Rs 3.75 crore in paid previews (Day 0), and witnessed a significant jump on Saturday driven by improved occupancy and weekend footfall.
Directed by Priyadarshan, the film marks his reunion with Akshay Kumar after several successful collaborations, including Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
Released on April 17, Bhooth Bangla is a horror-comedy featuring an ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Mithila Palkar, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta and Asrani. The film is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms, in association with Cape of Good Films, and produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor.
