Bhooth Bangla Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 3: Akshay Kumar’s Film Inches Closer to Rs 100 Crore Mark Globally; Check Overseas Figures

Bhooth Bangla Box Office Collection Day 3: Bhooth Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar, continued its strong run at the box office, taking its worldwide gross collection close to the Rs 100 crore mark on Day 3. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the horror-comedy collected Rs 23.00 crore net on its 1st Sunday, marking a 21.1% growth from Rs 19.00 crore on Day 2. With the latest figures, the film’s total India net collection has reached Rs 58.00 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs 69.37 crore. Overseas, the film added Rs 9.00 crore on Day 3, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 28.50 crore. The worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 97.87 crore after three days.

The film opened with Rs 3.75 crore from paid previews, followed by Rs 12.25 crore on Day 1 and Rs 19 crore on Day 2, before witnessing a further jump on Sunday. The film recorded its Day 3 collection across 11,682 shows with an overall occupancy of 36%.

Directed by Priyadarshan, the film marks his reunion with Akshay Kumar after more than a decade. The duo has previously collaborated on several successful films including Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

Released on April 17, Bhooth Bangla is a horror-comedy featuring an ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Mithila Palkar, Rajpal Yadav, Jisshu Sengupta and Asrani. The film is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films, and produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor.
