A team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently interrogating, Showik Chakraborty, brother of actress Rhea Chakraborty, at DRDO guest house in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case as per a Times Now report. CBI team is also likely to issue summons to Rhea Chakraborty and her father in connection with the case. The central probe agency is likely to interrogate Rhea Chakraborty about her mortuary visit and the conversation she had with Bandra DCP.The CBI had on Sunday took the late actor's personal staff to his flat in Bandra for further questioning and also visited a resort where he had spent two months for investigations.
A few minutes back, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde released an official statement and clarified that the actress has not been summoned by the CBI yet. The statement read, “Rhea Chakraborty and family have not received any summons from CBI so far to attend . No sooner she receives it , she & fly will attend as they did before Mumbai Police and ED as law abiding citizens. No speculations are necessary.” Speculations are also rife that the CBI will be questioning the Chartered Accountants (CAs) of Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput on Monday. They also informed that Rhea's former manager Shruti Modi will also be quizzed by the CBI on the fourth day of its investigation. Meanwhile, the CBI team had visited Sushant’s residence over the weekend with the forensic experts to recreate incident of June 14.
