The Narcotics Control Bureau has registered a criminal case against Rhea Chakraborty as per a India Today report. The NCB has also identified two men, Farookh Sheikh alias Farookh Batata and Bakul Chandalia, who are known for supplying drugs in the Bollywood circle. The agency is most likely to question the two men in the case. On August 26, the NCB registered a case under Sections 20, 22, 27 and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act. The NCB has also booked Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and others, against whom the ED had prepared a case. And now, the agency has registered a criminal case against the actress. 

With the CBI already investigating the case, the Narcotics Control Bureau has also pitched in after the drugs angle came up in the case. the CBI is questioning Rhea for the fourth time today, Sushant's former manager Shruti Modi was also snapped outside the CBI guesthouse in Mumbai. Apart from Rhea and Shruti, the CBI has also been grilling Sushant's flatmate Siddharth Pithani, manager Samual Miranda, cook Neeraj Singh, domestic-help Keshav and accountant Rajat Mewati.On August 25, ED wrote to NCB asking them to probe the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. In an interaction with India Today, Rakesh Asthana, director of Narcotics Control Bureau, had confirmed the same. Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer, however, in a statement, said she has never consumed drugs and is ready for a blood test any time to prove the same.
