After much speculations, actor Sushant Singh Rajput's last film is all set to get a digital release on Disney Plus Hotstar. Sushant's co-star Sanjana Sanghi shared the film's brand new poster on social media. Dil Bechara marks the directorial debut of casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who was also Sushant's close friend. Actress Sanjana Sanghi is making her acting debut with the film, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Swastika Mukherjee in pivotal roles. 

Dil Bechara is the official remake of 2014 Hollywood romantic drama The Fault in our Stars, based on John Green’s popular novel of the same name. AR Rahman and lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya have lended a soulful musical rendition to the film. After the demise of the actor, fans of the star demanded a theatrical release of the film. Sushant's demise triggered a widespread backlash on social media with fans blaming Salman Khan, and Karan Johar for the actor's tragic death. For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput's was last seen in Netflix film Drive and the blockbuster hit Chhichhore in 2019. The M.S Dhoni star committed suicide on 14th June at his Mumbai residence.
