COVID-19: Amitabh Bachchan arranges 10 buses to send migrant workers from Mumbai to Uttar Pradesh

Following the footsteps of actor Sonu Sood, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has come forward to help the stranded migrants. The superstar has  arranged for 10 buses to send migrant workers from Mumbai back to different parts of Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, About 300 migrants are being sent to the various locations in UP, viz, Lucknow,  Allahabad, Ghorakhpur, and Bhadoi. 

The buses were flagged off by Suhail Khandwani Managing Trustee,  Mahim Dargah,  and Trustee,  Haji Ali dargah,  and Rajesh Yadav, Managing director AB Corporation Ltd. The buses have been provided with food and snacks for the entire journey with water,  juices. The medical kits are also being provided to the migrants including hand santizer and mask. The Sholay actor reportedly has also distributed 4500 cooked food packets everyday at various locations in Mumbai city in collaboration with Haji Ali Trust and Pir Makhdum Saheb Trust.
