Sonu Sood Extends Support to Rajpal Yadav Ahead of Bail Hearing in Cheque Bounce Case

Rajpal Yadav is in news over his ongoing legal battel on cheque bounce case.  Yadav surrendered at Delhi's Tihar Jail on February 5 after the Delhi High Court rejected his last-minute plea seeking more time in the matter. After knowing about the matter many actors, singers, politician came in support for him. Sonu Sood who is known for his humble and helping nature assured that he will he will cast him in his film. He also urged other filmmakers to give him  a signing amount for their upcoming movies so that he can repay the debt.

On February 12, the Delhi High Court instructed the complainant to respond to Yadav's interim bail plea and postponed the hearing to February 16. Ahead of the hearing, Sood expressed his support for Yadav on X, calling him a "rare talent" and a "wonderful soul," and voiced hope for a positive outcome. Yadav's wife, Radha, told the media that her husband is looking forward to speaking with his fans and friends and expressed optimism about his imminent release, stating that he will provide further clarity on the matter upon his release.

Sonu Sood hopes Rajpal Yadav, whom he considers a uniquely talented actor, finds relief in the Rs 9 crore cheque bounce case. Yadav surrendered to Delhi's Tihar Jail on February 5 after the Delhi High Court denied his plea for more time. The case originates from a 2010 loan Yadav took to finance his directorial debut, Ata Pata Laapata, which underperformed and resulted in financial and legal difficulties.
