In the latest development as per a E-Times report, Sushant Singh Rajput’s talent manager Jaya Saha has claimed that Jaya admitted that she worked with late talent manager Disha Salian between 2018 and 2019, but said in her statement that Salian “had not met Sushant” while working at the company. Saha alleged that only she worked with Rajput on films and endorsement deals. She further went on to state that during her time with the actor, she helped him bag six films, including – ‘Sonchiriya’, ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Chhichhore’. Jaya also shared details of the paycheques the actor received for his films which ranged from Rs 2.25 crore for ‘Drive’ to Rs 6 crore for ‘Kedarnath’ and Rs 3.5 crore for ‘Dil Bechara’.Besides films, she also got the star endorsements and event deals of about 21 brands between 2016 and 2019.
In her statement, Saha also revealed that she spoke to Sushant on June 5, about a film, which he liked but didn’t agree to the signing fee of Rs 6 crore. She alleged that the actor demanded Rs 12 crore for the same.The report further goes on to state that Jaya even met Rajput in March 2020, when he was “not keeping well.” She stated that the actor would often start walking and go inside the bedroom and return repeatedly. The talent manager even claimed that Sushant had informed her about his depression in December. For the unversed, The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) that is probing the drugs angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, called in talent manager Jaya Saha for a second round of questioning on Tuesday. The central agency is reportedly probing her about certain chats with Bollywood celebrities related to drugs.Reports state that the nature of the chats seem to indicate that Saha probably ‘supplied drugs’ to her celebrity clients. A chat that has surfaced on public domain, has Jaya conversing with an actress with initials ‘S’ and ‘N’.
