The actress expressed her gratitude to John for "being the best costar and the most amazing human being." In the pictures, the duo can be seen flashing their big smiles as they bond over food. One of the photos saw John hugging Divya as they pose for the candid click. On the occasion of Republic Day, the makers of Satyameva Jayate 2 announced the film's release date and it will hit the screens on Eid this year. Another film to have theatrical release on Eid this year is Salman Khan's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. This is not the first time that John Abraham's film will witness a box office clash with another big movie. In 2019, his film Batla House clashed with Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal - both were Independence Day releases. In 2018, John's film Satyameva Jayate clashed with Akshay Kumar's sports drama Gold. Sharing the released date, the film's lead actor John Abraham wrote in his post: "Tann mann dhann, se badhkar jann gann mann! The team of Satyameva Jayate 2 wishes everyone a Happy Republic Day. See you in cinemas this Eid on May 14, 2021." The movie is a sequel of the 2018 blockbuster of the same name.Satyameva Jayate 2 will show John reprising his role of Virendra Rathod. The main plot of the movie revolves around the fight against injustice and misuse of power.
