The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday summoned comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa hours after conducting a raid at their residence in Mumbai, news agency ANI reported. As per a ABP Live report, the agency has recovered ‘ganja’ from her residence. The couple's named cropped up after interrogation of a drug peddler. This is the latest in a series of raids conducted at residences of big names associated with Bollywood. Actor Arjun Rampal and film producer Firoz Nadiadwala were also raided by the agency earlier this month in connection with a drugs probe.

The NCB launched an investigation into the consumption and possession of drugs by people in the Hindi film industry after it received official communication from the Enforcement Directorate (ED), in which there were various chats related to drug consumption, procurement, usage and transportation in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Bharti is popularly known for her comedy stints in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. She has also participated in several reality shows including ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, ‘Nach Baliye’, and others. Bharti Singh got married to Haarsh Limabchiyaa on December 3, 2017, and the couple is currently hosting ‘India’s Best Dancer’ on Sony TV.
