Rani Mukerji is one of the most prominent actors in the Bollywood industry. The actress is currently not that active in the industry, but she has a few unforgettable roles that her fans can never get over. On the 21st of March, the Mardaani actress is turning 46 years old, so let's take a look at Rani's top 5 films.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai: How can anyone forget Rani's character, Tina, a typical girl who falls in love with Rahul played by Shah Rukh Khan? Rani's role in that movie was hardly 30 mins but she was the highlight of the whole movie. 

Aiyya: This is one of the most iconic roles of Rani who plays Meenakshi. The story revolves around a woman who goes on a hunt for her dream man. Armed with her wild imagination and passion for Masala-films, she makes all hell break lose to find the one.

Mardaani: This movie showed a different side of Rani. This is the story of Senior Inspector Shivani Shivaji Roy, a strong dedicated officer of the Mumbai Police Force. She works hard to uncover a Delhi-based child trafficking cartel.

Hichki: Yet another challenging role played by Rani as she plays the role of a  woman with Tourette syndrome. She works hand to land a teaching job in an elite school. Due to her medical ccondition, the school gives her responsibility of a bunch of students who are upto no good. She turns her weakness into her biggest strength and helps those student turn their lives around. 

Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway: In this globally acclaimed film, she plays Debika Chatterjee, an Indian woman living in Norway with her family, who has to fight for the custody of her children after Norwegian authorities take them away from her. 

Rani Mukherji is happily married to producer Aditya Chopra and a proud mother to her daughter, Adira.
