Earlier fans are shared pictures of Janhvi and Kartik enjoying themselves in Goa. They were recently spotted together at Manish Malhotra’s New Year bash. The two were rumoured to be seeing each other. Of late, Janhvi and Kartik were also having a lot of chats, dropping comments on each other’s posts. “What can be more contagious than a smile?” Kartik captioned a picture on social media, to which Janhvi has answered, “Corona.”
Now after all the fun banter, it looks like the duo have apparently unfollowed each other on Instagram. Yes, you heard that right. A quick check on their 'following' accounts on Instagram yields no result, confirming that tension has been brewing between the actors for the last few days.While some speculate that Janhvi may have blocked Kartik, others wondered if Dostana 2 is still on the cards. For the unversed, Kartik and Janhvi along with newbie Lakshya began shooting Dostana 2 before the lockdown. The film was announced in 2019. However, the pandemic put on hold the film's shoot schedule since March 2020 as the team was slated to shoot in the United Kingdom. According to recent reports, Dostana 2 was set to resume filming in UK but the country went into another lockdown put the shooting plans in jeopardy. Dostana is a remake of hit 2008 film starring Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan.
