In a interview Sushant's family lawyer had said that there was no connection of Kangana's comments with the actor's death.
Her team wrote in another tweet "She did this to him because he was an easy target. Will she do the same with Ranbir Kapoor or Varun Dhawan? They say that nepotism is not a criminal offence but we have an opportunity to change the law. And to make Bully-wood a safe place for outsiders. If they focus only on money and not on the mafia, then this opportunity will be lost."
