Kapil Sharma confronts media after being summoned by Mumbai Police over fake registered cars

Comedian Kapil Sharma, was called by the Crime Intelligence Unit over false registered cars seized by the Mumbai Police. According to sources, Kapil Sharma had filed a complaint against car designer Dilip Chhabria for allegedly cheating him. Chhabria has been arrested under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).While speaking to the media, the actor cum comedian talked to the media and said, “We ordered a vanity van in 2017. And then we came to know that from whom we have ordered the van, he has been arrested in other cases. So, the police called me in this regard. I have also filed a case against him.”

For the unversed, Dilip is a celebrity car designer and manufacturer. He was taken into custody for a car registration racket and has been booked under forgery, breach of trust, criminal conspiracy and cheating, under Section 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).On the work front, Kapil has collaborated with Netflix for an upcoming project. Taking to Twitter, Kapil had made the announcement on January 5, 2021. He tweeted, “Don’t believe the rumours guys, only believe me. I’m coming on @NetflixIndia soon. This is the auspicious news. ”A video announcement was released by Netflix India in which Kapil is introducing himself and trying hard to pronounce 'auspicious'. He then talks about being a part of the streaming platform based in India, thus making Hindi as his primary language.
