It has been close to a month that Sushant Singh Rajput bid the world good bye and after the Kedarnath actor's demise it was Karan Johar who drew maximum flak on social media. The Takht director who is known to be quite social media savvy has been away from the limelight after Sushant's death and has been keeping a low profile. According to reports, Kjo is said to have created a new social media account to save himself from trolls.  The new private account goes with the name “karanaffairs”. The account has his picture as the display picture. Star kids like Ananya Pandey, Sahana Khan and Shweta Bachchan are following the account. Even Gauri Khan is one of his followers.

The last post on his verified Instagram account is with Sushant. He blamed himself in the caption for not being there for the late actor. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14, 2020. This started the wave of controversy. The topic, “nepotism” became the talk of the town. Many star kids including Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapooor, Sonakshi Sinha were trolled online. Karan also unfollowed many celebs on Twitter after the entire episode. Karan Johar was last spotted at Neetu Kapoor’s birthday with Agastya Nanda and Ranbir Kapoor. The director was trolled for being present at the party after one of his friends claimed that Karan has been crying and is away from everyone due to the unnecessary trolling.
