The 93rd Academy Awards are being held at both the Dolby Theatre and Union Station. The ceremony is taking place two months later than originally planned, due to the impact left by the COVID-19 pandemic on the entertainment industry.
The nominations for the 93rd Academy Awards were announced on March 15 this year. This is only the fourth time in history that the Academy Awards were postponed. This year's 93rd Oscar ceremony will be available on Disney-Hotstar OTT.
This year at the Oscars, all eyes are on Mank. The film has received 10 nominations this year. Other films include The Father, Judas and the Black Masaya, Minari, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Nomadland, Promising Young Women, Black Bottom, and Sound of Metal.

Best Costume Designer - It was also a historic night for costume designer Ann Roth, who won the Best Costume Designer Oscar for 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom'. At 89, Roth became the oldest recipient of the award in this category.
