Peddi, the most ambitious and highly anticipated project in Indian cinema, is headlined by Ram Charan and also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. Ever since its songs, posters, and glimpses were unveiled, the film has been creating tremendous buzz and setting the internet abuzz with excitement. Taking the anticipation a notch higher, the makers finally unveiled the power-packed trailer at a grand launch event in Mumbai.

The trailer of Peddi has now set the stage for what promises to be one of the biggest cinematic spectacles on the horizon. It offers a glimpse into an emotionally charged and action-packed story deeply rooted in India’s heartland, where sports are closely woven into the lives and culture of the people. While the makers had previously revealed Ram Charan’s transformations as Peddi Pehlwan and a cricketer, the trailer surprises audiences by showcasing three different sports and three completely distinct avatars of the actor.

Packed with action, emotions, and powerful moments, the trailer promises a cinematic rollercoaster. Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma and the supporting cast also leave a strong impression.

Even ahead of its theatrical release, Peddi has begun making a massive impact, with anticipation surrounding the film rising across markets at an impressive pace. The excitement is particularly evident overseas, as North American advance bookings reportedly crossed the $100K mark within just hours of opening, signaling strong demand and growing enthusiasm among audiences.

Ram Charan’s striking transformations, revealed from the film, have also become a major point of discussion among fans, showcasing his versatility through contrasting avatars, from a grounded village cricketer to the fierce and dominant Peddi Pehlwan.

Further elevating the excitement, A. R. Rahman’s music has played a significant role in amplifying the film’s craze, with “Chikiri Chikiri” crossing an impressive 200 million views, while “Rai Rai Raa Raa” continues to receive an overwhelming response with over 68 million YouTube views. With every new reveal generating greater anticipation, Peddi is gradually shaping up as one of the most eagerly awaited cinematic events on the horizon.

Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi features Ram Charan in the lead role alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu, bringing together a strong ensemble that elevates the film’s scale and impact. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and IVY Entertainment, with co-producer Ishan Saksena.

IVY Entertainment commenced in 2020 and has cemented its position as one of the most popular production houses and acquirers of film rights in India.  The company is steadily building one of India’s most extensive filmographies of premium IP and film rights while consistently empowering creative production houses to deliver exceptional movies that resonate with audiences worldwide.

The film also boasts a powerful technical team, including music by A. R. Rahman, cinematography by R. Rathnavelu, production design by Avinash Kolla, editing by Navin Nooli, and executive production by V. Y. Praveen Kumar, further strengthening its cinematic ambition and anticipation.

Peddi will be released in North India by Jio Studios following the grand success of Dhurandhar, Dhurandhar The Revenge and Raja Shivaji. The film will have its premiere across the world on June 3, 2026, followed by its worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026.
