Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra has been all over the news for his alleged involvement in publishing and distributing pornographic content. Kundra's alleged role in porn business was exposed after his shocking WhatsApp chats were retrieved by cops. In one of these chats the tainted businessman was talking about a deal about selling 121 videos for USD 1.2 million. This deal seems to be on the international level," Mumbai Police said, according to news agency ANI. The crime branch officials are also suspecting that Kundra through the money earned by porn films was involved in online betting. Now, the officials are try to solve the puzzle by looking into his bank accounts.
Earlier, in the day, crime branch officials raided the Kundra household in search of more evidence. It is reported that the Hungama 2 actress was present during the search operation. Mumbai Police have launched the probe into the case in February and after several arrests reached Raj Kundra. A report claimed Raj Kundra avoided arrest since February by bribing the Crime Branch officers. Raj Kundra has been running this business for two years though his Hotshots app was sold to a UK firm apparently to escape investigation in India. Police have revealed that the UK firm is owned by Kundra's brother-in-law and though the official ownership was transferred, Kundra used to manage the operations. Police has described Kundra as the "key conspirator" in the case. The tainted businessman and his team have now approached the high court terming the arrest as illegal.
