Rhea Chakraborty after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput has courted a lot of controversy. Post the allegations levelled against her, the actress the 28-year old spoke about the entire matter in an exclusive interview with India Today. In her interview she slammed Sushant's ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande denying news of the late actor being in touch with Ankita. She has talked about how Ankita, talked to Sushant during the shoot for Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. However, Rhea has pointed towards the fact that Ankita stated she never talked to Sushant in four years.
She quotes, "How can she make such claims about me when she never spoke to Sushant for 4 years?" " In another interview with NDTV, Rhea further questioned how Ankita is pretending to be Sushant's widow even though she is engaged to someone else. She even questioned how Ankita went onto date Sushant's friend post her break up. She even raised doubts about Ankita saying that Sushant called her a year back and claimed that Rhea was harassing him. Rhea has further alleged that Ankita broke the walls and is using the same flat that the late actor paid for. She has further asked, "Had I controlled him, wouldnt I have stopped Sushant from doing that first?" For the unversed, Sushant and Ankita were in a relationship for 6 years before they parted ways in 2016. Ankita in her defence said that Sushant was never in depression when they were in a relationship.
