Sara Ali Khan recently contributed to the foundation of actor Sonu Sood for the relief of Covid-19 affected patients. “Thank you so much my dear Sara Ali Khan for your contribution to the@sood foundation! Extremely proud of you & keep on doing the good work. You have inspired the youth of the nation to come forward and help during these difficult times. You are a hero,”  wrote, Sonu. Sara Ali Khan has been amplifying SOS calls from her followers on Instagram and often tags Sood and his foundation to get help. Sonu has been constantly helping out people across the nation with his foundation amid the COVID 19 second wave.

Last year, Sara Ali Khan had pledged her contributions to not just the PM-Cares Fund but also the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s relief fund for COVID 19. The Kedarnath star,  shared a note on social media and mentioned that she will also be making her contributions to the funds to combat the deadly virus. Sara wrote, “Time to do a good deed Stay in and help those in need!Your contributions will protect and feed I urge you to support, I request, I plead. #jaihind #staysafe #IndiaFightsCorona. Sara joined the likes of  Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Kartik Aaryan, Diljit Dosanjh, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli in donating to the respective funds for those whose lives have been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
