Palak Muchhal has always been into social service since the age of 7. During the Kargil war in 1999, she spent a week singing at shops in her home city, Indore, to raise funds for the families of deceased Indian soldiers. Her efforts received substantial coverage in Indian media, and she raised ₹25,000.It was only last month, the singer took to Twitter to make the ‘elated’ announcement that her dream of building a hospital was finally taking 'concrete shape.' She stated that treatment will be provided for free for those who could not afford it. The Bhaagi 2 artist sought the blessings of her well-wishers as she informed that the construction had moved to the next phase. Palak  has made her entry in both Guinness Book of World Records and Limca Book of World Records for great achievements in social work. Her work is also recognised by the Government of India and other public institutions through various awards and honours.
