There as been a lot of buzz regarding SRK's next project as a lot of theories have been floating around on the web as to the superstar will be doing next after the debacle of Zero. However, the recent report doing the rounds is that King Khan will be seen in the remake of Mr. India 2.  Yes, you heard it right, speculations are rife that, Shah Rukh will collaborating with Ali Abbas Zaffar for the remake of the 1987 classic which originally featured Anil Kapoor, Sridevi and Amrish Puri. While a leading Bollywood star would be cast as Anil Kapoor in the film, the makers have reportedly reached out to Shah Rukh to play the antagonist Mogambo.

A source informed, , “It’s neither a sequel nor a remake, but more of a spin-off of the original film set in the modern times. The film is in the pre-production stage and Ali has already locked the first draft of the script. Taking cue from Mr. India is a big deal, and Ali is being cautious with every step that he is taking.” Meanwhile, there were also reports of Ali working on a superhero film starring Katrina Kaif. However, his first project as a producer is Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter starrer Khaali Peeli. The film will hit the screens on June 12, 2020.
