Arijit Singh India's most beloved singer announced his retirement from playback singing on Tuesday, 27 January 2026. Singer has decided to stop playback singing. He will now be pursuing filmmaking and creating his own independent music. This decision of Arijit's has shocked his fans, leaving millions disappointed. Singer Shreya Ghoshal have also reacted to Arijit's decision and expressed her opinion.
Singer Shreya Ghoshal wrote, "This is a new phase in Arijit Singh's career, and I am truly excited to hear, see, and experience what this talented artist will offer next!
