Sushant Singh Rajput was known to be a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva and even used to croon hymns with his band at his Mumbai residence. Now a unseen video of the Kedarnath actor has surfaced online which raises questions on Siddharth Pithani. Whereas the video left many followers nostalgic and emotional, many additionally questioned Pithani’s presence. Sushant’s family friend Nilotpal Mrinal recently shared the video where the late actor can be religiously chanting the Jai Jai Shiva Shambo mantra. Behind him is Siddharth Pithani, who was playing a musical instrument, while it seemed it was Samuel Haokip playing the guitar.
Siddharth Pithani, who was a flatmate-teammate of Sushant for over a year before his death, was present in the house when the incident had taken on June 14. He had been questioned by the Mumbai Police, that first investigated the case, and then by central agencies like Enforcement Directorate and Central Bureau of Investigation. He has been under lens with some questionable statements. There were reports doing the rounds that suggested that he could be made witness in the case. In his statement to the agency, Siddharth revealed that Sushant fainted and later feared for his own life after Disha Salian’s death. For the unversed, Disha Salian allegedly jumped from a high rise in Mumbai on June 8 and six days later on June 14, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment.
