A year after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the CBI that took over the murder case registered by Bihar Police last year has so far remain tight-lipped on its findings. Now, according to a report published in Republic World, the CBI sources have stated that the case hasn’t been closed and that the investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is still going on. This isn’t all. The sources also reportedly claimed that the agency is probing different angles in the case. “Wrong to say we have closed the Sushant Singh Rajput case. The investigation is still on and we are probing all angles,” sources in the CBI were quoted saying.
Earlier, Rhea Chakraborty shared an emotional post on actor Sushant Singh Rajput's first death anniversary. Rhea, whom Sushant was dating at the time of his death, wrote about the void that the actor's absence left in her life and that she "waits" for him every day. "There isn't a moment where I believe that you aren't here anymore. They said that time heals everything but you were my time and my everything. I know that you are my guardian angel now - watching me with your telescope from the moon and protecting me. I wait for you every day to come pick me up, I look for you everywhere - I know you're here with me, wrote the actress. Sushant was found dead at home in Mumbai on June 14 last year; his death is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation or CBI, who questioned Rhea Chakraborty and her family members as well as some of Sushant's staff. Rhea and her brother Showik were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau or NCB in a separate drugs probe - both are currently out on bail.
