Actress Payal Ghosh recentlylevelled MeToo allegations against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Ghosh met Republican Party of India (RPI) chief and Rajya Sabha MP Ramdas Athawale in connection with the case.
On Monday, Payal, her lawyer, and Ramdas Athawale held a press conference. The Rajya Sabha MP had earlier promised the actress security.
Actress Swara Bhasker took a dig at Athawale for helping Ghosh fight against Anurag Kashyap.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Swara shared a picture of Payal Ghosh with Ramdas Athawale, her lawyer Nitin Satpute and Maharashtra Governor BC Koshyari.
She wrote, “It would have been great if Ramdas Athawale also lent his support to the Hathras gang-rape victim and his family too."
