The popular television series 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' has been entertaining audiences for several years. Its characters have become household names, and among them, Mandar Chandwadkar has gained immense recognition for his portrayal of Bhide master. His on-screen camaraderie with Jethalal is particularly loved by viewers. As the secretary of Gokuldham Society and a teacher by profession, Bhide is an integral part of the show. Recently, rumours surfaced that Mandar Chandwadkar was quitting the series. Addressing these speculations, the actor has finally breaks his silence.  

In a conversation on Subhojit Ghosh's podcast, Mandar dismissed the rumours, expressing his frustration over false reports. He stated, "Thanks to social media! Honestly, I feel there should be a law regulating who can post on it. The rumour about me leaving the show is nothing but a hoax created for views. Such fake news is spread for financial gain, and in turn, it increases their subscribers. These baseless claims have even led my family to ask why I’m leaving the show, but the truth is, I’m not!"  

The actor further explained that his primary reason for staying on 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' is job satisfaction. He elaborated, "I have thoroughly enjoyed working on this show for 17 years, and even today, I have just as much fun on set. My character and my work never feel monotonous. On the contrary, we have all become a close-knit family with no ego clashes. We constantly motivate each other to do better. Every day on set is filled with laughter and positivity. It’s a playful atmosphere, and we get the privilege of working with veteran actors."

"Our show has been blessed by the audience, which is why, despite all the ups and downs, we continue to entertain viewers even after 17 years," he added.
