NDMC disinfects office after engineer found corona positive

The entire NDMC building located near Jantar Mantar in the heart of the national capital was disinfected on Saturday after an engineer working with the civic body was tested positive with COVID-19.

New Delhi, April 18 The entire NDMC building located near Jantar Mantar in the heart of the national capital was disinfected on Saturday after an engineer working with the civic body was tested positive with COVID-19.

According to senior officials in the New Delhi Municipal Council, the engineer showed symptoms of flu on Thursday and was immediately taken for testing. On Saturday the results showed him positive for corona.

"Contact tracing as per protocol is being done and necessary action would be taken," the official said.

He added that the NDMC was disinfecting his office and the entire NDMC building as a precautionary measure.
