Four people were killed and a few others injured as a bomb blast ripped through a mosque in Kabul, Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman Tareq Arian said.

The mosque is located in the capital city's Police District 3, reports Xinhua news agency.

The victims included a prayer leader, Arian said, without providing further details.

No group has immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
