Australia Plane Crash: 2 Killed, 11 Injured After Into Hangar at Parafield Airport in Adelaide
At least two were killed and eleven other injured after a small plane crashed into a hangar at Parafield Airport in Adelaide, Australia, on Wednesday, April 29. A huge plume of smoke and fire was seen at the site of the crash, which was visible from several miles away.
The accident occurred at around 2 pm (Australian local time) on Wednesday. After receiving the alert, police, along with emergency crews, reached the spot and controlled the blaze. According to the Daily Star, the crash occurred at around 2.10 pm during its landing attempt.

However, no official reports have stated how many passengers were onboard at the time of the crash. Thick plumes of black smoke are visible in the area and residents are being advised to remain indoors and keep all windows and doors shut.

Multiple fire trucks can be seen going through a large fire in an aeroplane hangar. Multiple fire vehicles were reported at the spot.
"You could see the gable in the front doors of the hangar billowing out black smoke, just coming out. Couldn't see flames but it was quite large - you could see some sort of fuel," the spokesperson said.
"Parafield Airport has been closed to all air traffic," the statement read. "We will provide full support to the emergency services in their response to this incident." he added.
