Dallas Shooting: 4 Students Injured After Firing at Wilmer-Hutchins High School in Texas, Suspect at Large
At least four students of Wilmer-Hutchins High School were injured in a shooting in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday, April 15. Law enforcement agencies are at the scene and are currently investigating the incident. The police said that they have identified the suspected gunman, but he remains at large.
The firing took place at around 1 pm in the afternoon. The school was quickly evacuated by authorities and moved to a nearby stadium. The Dallas Fire-Rescue Department stated that three students were injured from the gunshot wounds, and the fourth student was hurt in his lower body, as per the Indian Express.

The injured students were transported to the nearby hospital for treatment and out of danger. “Quite frankly, this is just becoming way too familiar. And it should not be familiar,” said Stephanie Elizalde, superintendent of the Dallas Independent School District.
A student heard seven gunshots. Police said that there were no active threats and the school campus had been secured, while the suspect was still at the large. The police said that the investigation in the shooting is going on.
