Twitch streamer hmblzayy, also known as Minister Zay or Humble Zay, was injured and hospitalised after a car struck him from behind during his 3,000-mile journey from Philadelphia to California. The accident was recorded during livestreaming which has stunned his followers.
Hmblzayy gave an update from the hospital bed via Instagram video with a caption "GOD IS THE GREATEST" In the reel shared after the accident said, "For everybody's action, there was a car that was trailing me, and there was a car behind them that was speeding and hit them, which started them to hit me. I flew in the air. The back brace saved me."
"They had to run tests on my neck, my neck, and my feet, my legs. From the video that happened, they trying to figure out how I'm still alive. The cops said, I'm just so happy that I'm looking at you like this, and I'm not looking at you dead," he said.
"God did. A lot of people was joking. They thought it was a game. They think things was funny. I'm in the hospital. I'm not ending my trip," he said he will complete his faith journey and will not stop.
"I made a promise to God no matter what happens, I got to finish this. I don't care about how I crawl to the finish line. Things in life is going to get inconvenient. Things in life is going to want to cause you to give up. It ain't going to be all happy and smiles and blessings and things like that," he added.
Isaiah Thomas, the man behind the mission, planned a 3,000-mile “Faith Walk” to raise awareness and funding for HMBL University, a future trade school designed to help underprivileged teens gain valuable life and career skills, according to Poprant.
