At least two people were killed after a small plane crashed into a residential structure in Akron, Ohio, on Thursday, May 14. According to reports, a single-engine Piper PA-28 aircraft crashed into a home on Canterbury Circle at around 3.45 pm.
The plane crash led to a huge fire and smoke in the area. The Piper PA-28 aircraft flew from Akron Regional Airport, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Despite the severe fire, residents from the nearby area escaped unhurt.

District Fire Chief Sierjie Lash said multiple state and local agencies arrived to secure the neighbourhood. Fire crews successfully extinguished the flames to prevent further spread to neighbouring houses in the Coventry Crossing development.
