Texas Shooting: Several Injured in Firing at Cannabis Dispensary in Laredo

Multiple people were injured in a shooting at a cannabis dispensary in Laredo, Texas, said police. The shooting occurred at around 2.20 pm on Wednesday at a shopping centre on McPherson Road, according to the Laredo Police Department. 

As per local media, the clinic is identified as The Healing Clinic. Police did not specify the seriousness of the injuries. People were admitted to a nearby hospital. No arrests have been announced.

"here is a reported shooting at a local business by the 9800 block of McPherson Rd. This is a developing situation. The area has been contained. There are no threats to the surrounding businesses," the Laredo Police Department said in a post on Facebook.

There were no threats to the local establishments next door or to any of the residents nearby,” Laredo police spokesman Jose Espinoza said.
