Energy expert Samuel Ciszuk from the ELS said Europe needs to find new sources of gas now in order to meet its energy demands this winter. The summer months are for ‘stocking up’ as pressure mounts on EU countries to prepare for the winter demand.
“There have been orders going out from several governments to companies in their countries to buy as much as possible in order to fill their storages,” he said. “Even including buying as much Russian gas as possible.”

Also, Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he believes Russia is trying to destabilize the situation in Moldova’s Transnistrian region after a series of explosions there, adding that Ukrainian armed forces were ready for a possible escalation by Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territory. “The goal is obvious – to destabilize the situation in the region, to threaten Moldova. They show that if Moldova supports Ukraine, there will be certain steps,” Zelenskiy said
