Ukraine has relinquished visa requirements for foreigners who want to come to the country to fight against Russia in the ongoing war. On Monday, president Volodymyr Zelensky authorised a decree which would permit foreigners to come to Ukraine for help.

After seizing control of some Ukrainian cities, the Russian military is now trying to capture the capital, Kyiv. This has increased the threat to the city of Kyiv.
