The Cradle Song of Rama's Birth (Shree Ram Janma Palna)

At 12:00 PM, the infant idol of Lord Rama is placed in a cradle adorned with flowers. At this moment, women gather together to sing the traditional cradle song:

Sleep, sleep, oh sleep—oh Jewel of the Lineage, Son of Dasharatha—sleep, little child!

During this ceremony, the chant "Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram" is raised in unison, and *Sunthvada* (a traditional offering made of dry ginger and jaggery) is distributed as *Prasad*.
