Ram Navami 2026 Special: Powerful ‘Ram Raksha Stotra’ Remedy to Remove Negativity and Bring Positivity

Lord Shri Rama's birth anniversary will be observed on March 26, 2026. The life of Shri Rama is not merely a story; it is an epic saga of triumph over the immense struggles inherent in human existence. Despite being the Prince of Ayodhya, he endured a fourteen-year exile, the grief of losing his father, separation from his wife, and estrangement from his children. Having borne such immense sorrow, he proved himself to be the 'Maryada Purushottam' the Ideal Man of Highest Virtue.

To help overcome similar adversities and to establish a 'Ramrajya' in one's own life, astrologer Shirish Kulkarni has suggested a highly potent remedy for the occasion of Rama Navami.  With the ideal of Lord Shri Rama as one's guiding light, the 'Shri Ram Raksha Stotra' composed by the sage Budhakoushika serves as an infallible weapon for facing every crisis with unwavering resolve. It is believed that the daily recitation of this Stotra improves one's speech and ensures that Lord Shri Rama protects the devotee completely, from head to toe.

In addition to its daily recitation, Kulkarni suggests performing the following specific remedy on Rama Navami:

  • Rama Navami Special: The 'Protective Shield' Remedy involving 11 Knots To dispel negativity from your life and neutralize the influence of evil forces, be sure to perform the following remedy on the day of Rama Navami (March 26)
  • Materials: One red-and-yellow sacred thread. The First Knot: On the day of Rama Navami, hold this thread in your hand, recite the entire 'Ram Raksha Stotra' once, and tie the first knot in the thread.
  • Eleven Knots: In this manner, recite the 'Ram Raksha Stotra' again and tie a second knot at a short distance from the first. This process should be repeated 11 times in total, ensuring that the thread ends up with a total of 11 knots.
  • Offering: Place this thread—knotted eleven times—at the feet of Lord Shri Rama and offer a heartfelt prayer.
  • Wearing: Subsequently, with deep faith, tie this consecrated thread around your own wrist or that of a family member.
  • Benefits of this Remedy: Dispelling Negativity: It helps to diminish the lingering impact of past negative events that have occurred in one's life.
  • Energy Protection: It creates an aura of positive energy around you, thereby providing protection against malevolent forces.
  • A Positive Beginning: Performing this ritual on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami marks a fresh, positive start to both the year and your life journey.

The Shri Ram Raksha Stotra, composed by sage Budhakoushika, offers unwavering resolve in times of crisis by invoking Lord Rama. Reciting it daily is believed to improve speech and provide complete protection. For Rama Navami, Kulkarni suggests a special "Protective Shield" remedy to dispel negativity:

Rama Navami Remedy: The Protective Shield (11 Knots)

On Rama Navami (March 26), use a red-and-yellow Moli (sacred thread) to neutralize evil influences.

  • Hold the thread and recite the entire Ram Raksha Stotra, then tie a knot.
  • Repeat the recitation and knot-tying process eleven times, creating eleven knots.
  • Place the knotted thread at the feet of Lord Rama and offer a heartfelt prayer.
  • With faith, tie the consecrated thread around your wrist or a family member's.

Benefits: This remedy diminishes past negativity, creates a protective aura against malevolent forces, and marks a positive beginning for the year and life's journey.
