Naresh Dahibavkar, president of the Brihanmumbai Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Samanvay Samiti (BSGSS) was also present at the meeting chaired by the CM. Dahibavkar said, "Every year we hold our meeting from the law-and-order perspective, where we raise pending matters with the BMC, traffic department, and police department—issues that have been on our agenda for the past 3–4 months."

"For the last 2–3 years, you have seen that around one lakh devotees gather during immersion, so proper planning is needed for their peaceful arrival," said Dahibavkar.
