Mumbai on Wednesday received heavy rainfall at isolated places for the last 12 hours due to which normal life was disrupted in the city.
Due to continuous downpour in the city heavy waterlogging & traffic congestion was reported near Wilson College in Girgaon area.
Given the continuous downpour the city is facing, the water has reportedly found its way to Hockey player Devindar Walmiki's house, creating inconvenience for his family.
Valmiki posted a video on social media and appealed to Maharashtra minister Aaditya Thackeray for help.
He took Twitter to post the video and captioned, "Its an emergency Police cars revolving light it’s a humble request to @mybmc @AUThackeray @Iamrahulkanal to kindly help us out with the water logging at house in Marine Lines. My family tried reaching out to the local ward but no ones ready to come,As I’m in Netherlands for my hockey matches"
In another tweet he wrote, "Is there anyone who can help...my house is been floating..please help @mybmc @OfficeofUT @AUThackeray"
